Last year, through a generous grant from the Bank of Ann Arbor, Bryant Elementary was able to purchase 8 brand new keyboards, among many other new instruments.
Wanting to protect our new instruments and keep them free of dust, I knew that fabric keyboard covers would do the trick. Having absolutely no sewing experience of my own, I sought the help of our Bryant/Pattengill community and I was blown away with the response! Within a week, I had bags of fabric donated to our classroom and multiple offers from community members willing to make the covers for us. Now, our new instruments are protected and are going to look beautiful for years to come. Thank you to Deborah Paul-McDonald and Lolie Bowman for donating the fabric and making the beautiful new keyboard covers.
We appreciate all that you, and so many other Bryant/Pattengill volunteers do for our schools and our students. Thank you!!!
